Meeting update -  11/19/2008

Our club tried a new location on Wednesday night. We met at the Lane Ave Shopping Center Community Room B. The facility was very nice and seemed to work well for our clubs needs. Click here to read more about the meeting. Our speaker was Linda Tvorik with the Central Ohio Safe Kids Coalition. This organization is one that we donate to on a monthly basis. Georeann Wells spoke to a crowd of students, parents, and Kiwanis members at Tuttle Park Rec Center -  10/27/2008

She did an excellent job of speaking to a group of students from Columbus City Schools, parents and Kiwanis members at the Tuttle Park Recreation Center. Kiwanis Club to tour new 4-H center and first "Green" Building on campus -  10/15/2008

On Wednesday, October 15, 2008 the Kiwanis Club of University will have it's weekly meeting at the new Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center FO. Our speaker will be Andrea Bowlin, Director, External Relations- The Ohio State University. She will provide us with an overview of 4-H, it's ties to the university, and then give us information about the first GREEN building project at the Ohio State University. Hall of Fame OSU Baseball Coach Bob Todd scheduled to speak  -  10/8/2008

OSU Baseball Coach Bob Todd will speak to the Kiwanis Club of University on Wednesday, October 8, 2008. The meeting will take place at Champp's in the Lennox Center. Dinner will begin at 6:15p with the meeting and program to commence at 7p. Coach Todd will be discussing the the Men's Baseball program and his experience as their winningest coach. Mr. Todd has most recently been honor as an inductee to the OSU Hall of Fame.
